conducted by the Institute is a very vital activity for the
young engineers aspiring for appropriate placement in Government
Departments, Multinational Private/Public Sector Undertakings.
A close interaction between the Institute and various company
executives has created excellent placement record. The Placement
& Training Officers actively participate in organizing Campus
Recruitment Programme. By sheer dint of hard work and dedication,
the students of this Institute have created their enviable
position in the industries. The Institute has excellent record
of assuring confirmed jobs in prestigious industrial organizations.
On the basis of records available students belonging to the
Divisions-Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer
Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production & Industrial
Engineering-who graduated in year 2002-03 and, almost all
the students have secured firm jobs in Multinational companies,
Private and Public Sector Undertakings and Government Departments.
Some of them joined Indian Institute of Management and I.I.T's
for higher studies. Some students were selected by the top
Universities in the USA to pursue higher studies in specialized
areas. So far a high percentage of our eligible students have
been offered jobs by reputed firms.
The Institute is giving a great deal of emphasis for strengthening
the Industry Institute-interaction as well as interaction
with other educational institution and R&D laboratories both
at the national and international levels. The Placement &
Training Cell mission is to partner in Career Advancement
of our students by, Building strong competencies and skills.

Placements are done through Placement Cell,
which co-ordinates with the corporate and students to identify
their need.
The Training & Placement cell endeavours to provide career
planning and job seeking assistance to students. MAIET has
a full-fledged Training & Placement Cell with two PLACEMENT
COORDINATORS.
The T & P Cell takes care of the following key activities
for the students:

Job Placement through campus interviews - Job placement through
campus interviews is the most important activity. Students
are placed through campus interviews each year in premier
industries and organizations of our country.
Practical Training during vacations - Summer training in industries
(30 & 45 days duration) and visits to industries are arranged.
Career Counseling and guidance - Training & Placement
Cell gives career counselling 8: guidance and conducts training
programmes for career planning, job interviews 8: total personality
development.
Career information Centre - The Training 8: Placement Cell
has been an information Centre for higher studies, job opportunities,
practical training etc .
